Funding
We accept golden ticket, working family and universal childcare funding, as well as the tax-free childcare scheme. You can check your eligibility for any of these types of funding at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
For working families applying for funding from 9 months, as long as you have applied for and received your 9 months+ code the term before your child’s 2nd birthday, your child can start their funded hours with us as soon as they turn 2.
For working families with a code for 30 hours childcare, Old Newton Under Fives are able to offer up to 27.5 hours. We are also happy for families to split their hours with our setting and another. If you would like to find out more about how to do this, please contact us.
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is additional funding that can be claimed by childcare
providers to support eligible children’s learning and development. The aim of the EYPP is to
help close the gap between children from disadvantaged backgrounds and their peers by
providing funding to early years providers to help them raise the quality of their provision.
EYPP is available for all funded children. To find out more information and check your child’s eligibility at www.suffolk.gov.uk/EYPP
